Kodiak-FX Apparel is here to honor the legacy of a great American generation. Fueled by the great outdoors on two wheels, with an insatiable appetite for the unknown, we are the embodiment of a lost lifestyle, escaping our civilization through asphalt and our great land. We crave freedom.

Kodiak-FX Apparel was born in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, when many veterans, including myself, found ourselves feeling lost and uncertain. We asked ourselves, "Where do we fit in? How can we keep our minds occupied and find purpose in this new reality?"

2020 presented many challenges, and I was unfortunately furloughed from my company, which relied heavily on in-store business consulting. With a baby boy due in August, I was left wondering how I would provide for my family without a steady income.

That's when I plummeted into the abyss of despair that many veterans experience: a lack of self-worth and purpose. I found myself unable to take pleasure in anything. Then, one day, a fellow Marine sent me a message about a social media group that helps veterans explore the great outdoors, hunting, and fishing.

Many days passed, and lo and behold, my wife uttered the name aloud, and Kodiak-FX began to take shape. Kodiak Island, Alaska, my birthplace, and FX (effects) representing how the land affects us all in different ways.

The concept of everyday citizens aiding veterans with mental health through outdoor activities is truly remarkable, and I am eager to help make this a reality for many others like me. By providing veterans with the opportunity to engage in outdoor activities, we can help them to cope with the psychological and emotional challenges they face. Not only will this help to improve their mental health, but it will also give them a sense of purpose and connection to the world around them. Five percent of all sales are donated to providing veterans with an unforgettable adventure! For all Kodiak-FX products sold, 5% of the earnings will provide veterans with an unforgettable experience, and 10% of the earnings from all R.E.D. (Remember Everyone Deployed) products will be donated to the fund. My goal is to give back to those who have served our country and send as many veterans as possible on exciting adventures across the United States.
